Our project

Social Venture Africa envisions a world where women and youth are empowered to take their destiny in their own hands and where clean energy is affordable and accessible everyday to everyone. Our mission is to create employment opportunities for disadvantaged youth and women through education, skills training and income-generating activities in solar energy and electricity that benefit local communities.

Together with our partner NGO Village Exchange Ghana we established in 2014 the Lady Volta Green Tech Academy, a vocational center in Ho (Volta Region), Ghana.

THE LADY VOLTA GREEN TECH ACADEMY

The Lady Volta Green Tech Academy is a renewable energy competence center that trains solar power specialists and electricians with a focus on practical knowledge. Our aim is to support the self-development of youth through comprehensive vocational training programs that include social skills and career planning, as well as industrial internships.
